AS/NZS 2172:2003 PDF Download

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of children using cribs, certain regulations are essential.

It is significant to note that folding cots are expressly excluded from the standard because they are covered by AS/NZS 2195, a different standard. However, as stated in AS/NZS 2195, certain requirements of AS/NZS 2172:2003 still need to be met by folding timber cots. 

It's also important to note that cots used in daycare centers, hospitals, or other institutions are exempt from this regulation. AS/NZS 2130 specifies unique standards for cots used in these situations.
