The BS EN ISO 15118-20:2022 standard specifies the communication protocol between electric vehicles (EVs) and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) for the purpose of bidirectional power transfer. EVCC (Electric Vehicle Communication Controller) and SECC (Supply Equipment Communication Controller) are the main controllers for communication in this standard.
