Gas-burning home cooking appliances with forced-convection ovens and/or grills are the topic of the DIN EN 30-2-2 standard. Its main goal is to make sure that these gadgets use energy responsibly. The requirements and test methodology that must be used during the type testing phase are specified in the standard. It is significant to remember that this standard only applies to equipment that utilizes the flammable gases listed in EN 301 2:2012 Clause 1. The standard also offers instructions for calculating calorific values using the gross calorific value (Hs) as specified in EN 301 1:2008+A3:2013.
