Rope courses that are stationary or mobile, as well as the parts that make them up, must adhere to the DIN EN 15567-1 standard. It details the precautions that must be taken throughout the planning, building, inspection, and upkeep of these ropes courses. It's crucial to note that this standard does not apply to children's playgrounds or temporary ropes courses because those items are governed by separate standards (EN 1176 for playgrounds).
Another standard known as EN 15567-2 is applicable when using rope courses. Only Clause 7.1.2 of the standard is affected by this particular change.
