This standard is applicable to water play structures and equipment in public spaces like swimming pool facilities. It's crucial to remember that this requirement also applies to spray parks.
The guideline does, however, list a few exceptions. It does not apply to playground equipment, floating leisure items, artificial climbing walls, toys, water slides, climbing or bouldering walls used in swimming pools, or water play elements intended only for residential use.
