Automatic Electrical Controls - Part 2-9: Particular Requirements for Temperature Sensing Control
Also Known As:
The automatic electrical temperature sensing controls used in various pieces of equipment, such as heating and cooling systems, are covered by the standard IEC 60730-2-9:2015+A1:2018+A2:2020. It also covers controls used in public institutions like hospitals and offices, as well as controls used in commercial, industrial, and residential applications. The safety and proper operation of these controls, along with their operating values, timings, and sequences, are guaranteed by the standard. It also has guidelines for testing these devices. The standard's fourth iteration incorporates technical changes and harmonizes with other pertinent standards. The third version from 2008 and its Amendment 1:2011 have been replaced. IEC 60730-1:2013 should be read in addition to the standard. It is not necessary to order new amendments because this consolidated version already includes Amendments 1 (2018) and 2 (2020) in addition to the fourth edition.
