Household portable appliances for cooking, grilling and similar use - Methods for measuring performance
Also Known As:
IEC 61817:2000 plus AMD1:2004 The CSV standard specifies the processes for measuring the performance of electric household portable appliances used for cooking, grilling, and other related tasks. It seeks to identify and give recommendations for measuring the key performance aspects of these appliances that are significant to the user.
While this standard applies to a variety of portable appliances, it stipulates that IEC 60705 should be used to measure the performance of microwave ovens. Similarly, the applicable standard for reference for electric cooking ranges, hobs, ovens, and grills used in houses is IEC 60350.
It's worth noting that this consolidated version includes both the original first edition from 2000 and the subsequent amendment 1 from 2004. As a result, there is no need to order the amendment individually because it has already been included in this publication.
