Household microwave ovens - Methods for measuring performance
Also Known As:
A standard known as IEC 60705:2010+A1:2014 is dedicated to measuring the performance parameters of home microwave ovens. Both standalone and combo microwave ovens fall into this category. The standard strives to specify the primary performance traits important to these appliances' consumers and offers tools for measuring those traits.
The 1999, 2004, and 2006 editions of the standard have been replaced by this technical revision, which also replaces them. The unambiguous description of rounding in section 3.5 and the calculation of useable volume and total volume in sections 7.2 and 7.3, respectively, are only a few of the modifications it makes.
It's important to note that this standard's fourth edition from 2010 and its first amendment from 2014 are both included in this version, which has been merged. Therefore, as the change has already been incorporated into this publication, there is no need to order it separately.
