Automatic Electrical Controls for Household and Similar Use - Part 2-9: Particular Requirements for Temperature Sensing Controls
Also Known As:
The standard IEC 60730-2-9:2008+A1:2011 covers automatic electrical temperature sensing controls used in home appliances and similar equipment. These controls may employ many energy sources, such as electricity, gas, oil, solid fuel, or solar thermal energy, and can be used in numerous applications, including heating and cooling systems. This standard replaces earlier versions and changes and includes a brand-new, educational manual on how to use temperature sensing controllers in Annex EE. Additionally, it adds a new endurance requirement for temperature-sensing equipment in cold environments. It is recommended that you read this standard in conjunction with IEC 60730-1:2010 and give future revisions or updates to that standard some thought. It is unnecessary to order the amendment individually because the third edition (2008) and its amendment 1 (2011) are both included in the consolidated version of this standard.
