Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-58: Particular Requirements for Commercial Electric Dishwashing Machines

IEC 60335-2-58:2002 + AM1 + AM2 + 2015 The CSV standard addresses the security requirements for commercially used electric dishwashing equipment. These machines may or may not include facilities for heating water or drying; they are made for washing plates, dishes, glasses, cutlery, and similar items. The standard is applicable to appliances with a maximum rated voltage of 480 V for other appliances and 250 V for single-phase appliances.
The scope of the standard includes a variety of equipment used in cafeterias, hospitals, bakeries, butcheries, and other commercial establishments. Conveyor dishwashers, batch dishwashers, and brush machines are a few examples of the appliances that fall under this category.
The standard's original third edition from 2002, as well as amendments 1 and 2 from 2008 and 2015, are all included in this condensed form. It is significant to note that this publication does not require any extra revisions to be ordered with it. The standard should be read in connection with IEC 60335-1:2010, the general safety standard for home appliances.
