IEC 60335-2-36:2002 + AM1 + AM2 2008 Specifically focusing on commercial electric cooking ranges, ovens, hobs, and hob elements, CSV is a safety standard. It is made to make sure that this equipment, which is meant for commercial usage rather than residential use, operates safely. For single-phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral, the rated voltage cannot exceed 250 V, while for other appliances, it cannot exceed 480 V.
The standard's fifth edition from 2002, together with amendments 1 and 2 from 2004 and 2008, are all included in this condensed version. It removes the need to order individual amendments by combining various editions and amendments into a single publication.
