ISO 6469-2:2022 PDF Download

ISO 6469-2:2022 is a safety standard for electrically propelled road vehicles. The document is focused on operational safety to protect both the individuals inside the vehicle and outside of it. It specifies the requirements that must be met by electric vehicles to ensure their operational safety. It is important to note that this document does not cover safety information for manufacturing, maintenance, and repair personnel. Additionally, EMC is not covered in this document; EMC is addressed in other standards such as ISO 11451 and IEC 61851-21-1.

This document excludes motorcycles and mopeds as they are covered in the ISO 13063 series. Moreover, it does not cover driving automation features comprehensively. Instead, it refers to the SAE J3016 definition of "driving automation features."
