A standard known as ISO 6425:2018 describes the specifications and testing procedures for divers' watches. Additionally, it has detailed instructions for saturation divers' watches used while deep diving. The requirement is applicable to timepieces made to survive diving in water that is at least 100 meters deep.
This standard's demand that the watch have a secure measuring system to show the dive time is one of its main requirements. This technique should be visible in the dark as well, allowing divers to precisely gauge their time spent underwater even under dim lighting. To ensure uniformity and accurate identification, the standard also specifies the branding that manufacturers are permitted to attach to these watches.
