UL 1322:2017 PDF Download

The UL 1322:2017 standard specifies the specifications for different manufactured scaffolding component types. These specifications apply to platforms for suspended, permanent, or rolling scaffolds as well as planks made of wood, metal, or a mix of the two. The standard also covers mobile work stands, scaffold decks, work cages (baskets), and modular suspended platforms with one, two, or more points.

The construction or installation of scaffolding, suspended scaffold hoists, suspended platforms with inclined or articulating portions, accessories for fixed or rolling scaffolds, and suspended scaffold components are not covered by the standard.

Additionally, the standard specifies that testing and rating scaffold assemblies and components shall be done in compliance with ANSI/SSFI SC100-5/05, Testing and Rating Scaffold Assemblies and Components.
