The minimum strength specifications for anchorages that are permanently fixed or attached to structures used for rope rescue training are specified in the ASTM F2822-10 (R2016) standard. Each anchorage must meet the standard's requirements for holding a minimum of 40 kN of force in all probable loading directions. To prevent damage to any hardware, rope, or webbing that may be attached to the anchorage, it should be built of rounded stock or have beveled or chamfered edges.
