Two test procedures are described in the standard BS EN 12228:2013 for determining the joint strength of synthetic surfaces used in sports facilities. The first technique, Method 1, concentrates on overlapped adhesive joints and buttock joints. In this test, the strength and integrity of various kinds of joints are assessed using direct force. Contrarily, Method 2 focuses primarily on reinforced buttock joints. To evaluate the joint strength of these particular types of joints, this test entails applying a peel force.
