The Class B devices that are meant to expose users to different swimming strokes are the focus of this standard. Other items, including Class A and Class C aids, pull buoys, swim rings, lifebuoys, buoyancy aids, lifejackets, and water toys, are not included. Class B devices can either be inflatable or have intrinsic buoyancy, but they must be tightly fastened to the body.
