Automatic Electrical Controls for Household and Similar Use - Part 2-19: Particular Requirements for Electrically Operated Oil Valves, Including Mechanical Requirements
Also Known As:
The standards and specifications for electrically driven oil valves used in home appliances and other similar equipment are addressed in the standard IEC 60730-2-19. These oil valves are electrically operated and designed to function with liquid fuels like distillates or residual fuels.
The standard covers a range of elements, including mechanical requirements, that are connected to the functionality and operation of these valves. With precise criteria laid out in Annex J of the standard, it addresses the use of NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) or PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermistors in these valves.
The 1997 edition of the standard and its following updates 1 (2000) and 2 (2007) have been combined into this version of the standard. Therefore, when using this publication, there is no need to order or consult additional amendments.
