An international standard called IEC 60335-2-98:2002+AMD1:2004+AMD2:2008 CSV focuses on the safety standards for electric humidifiers used in homes and other similar situations. The rated voltage for these humidifiers is 480 V for other appliances and up to 250 V for single-phase appliances.
