Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-101: Particular requirements for vaporizers
Also Known As:
The IEC 60335-2-101:2002+AMD1:2008 The CSV standard focuses on the security requirements for vaporizers used in homes and other similar settings. The rated voltage for these vaporizers is up to 250 V. The goal of the standard is to guarantee the security of using these appliances while shielding consumers from any risks.
The standard is a condensed form that incorporates both the first edition's 2002 original and its 2008 amendment 1 to that edition. This indicates that since the change is already included in this publication, there is no need to order it separately.
The standard covers a number of safety issues, such as mechanical safety, electrical safety, the suppression of fire, and other risks. In order to assure the safe functioning of vaporizers, it specifies specifications for structure, materials, and performance.
