AS 5263.0:2013 PDF Download

The general specifications and test procedures for gas equipment and appliances are described in AS 5263.0:2013. Appliances that burn natural gas, municipal gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LP Gas), and tempered liquefied petroleum gas (TLP) are covered by the standard. It covers appliances having an energy input limit of 1000 MJ/h or any lower limit mentioned in the appliance-specific sections of the AS 5263 series standards and designed for household, commercial, or light industrial usage.

To specify the special criteria for each type of appliance, the AS 5263 series' appliance-specific portions may contain clauses that can be added, removed, or modified under the terms of the standard. Additionally, the standard can be reasonably applied to gas appliances created using new concepts or technologies as well as appliances not covered by any appliance-specific standards.
