The IEC 60704-2-5:2005+AMD1:2014 The standards and procedures for assessing the airborne acoustical noise of electric thermal storage room heaters are laid forth in the CSV standard, a test code. This standard is applicable to forced convection heaters, whether they are built-in, mounted on the wall, or positioned on the floor.
This standard is intended to provide a uniform and impartial method for measuring the noise generated by these kinds of heaters in order to assess their performance and meet regulatory requirements.
