IEC TR 62617:2015 PDF Download

The standard IEC TR 62617:2015 focuses on measurement uncertainty reporting for home laundry appliances. In order to estimate the range of values that could be obtained when the same appliance is measured in another laboratory using the same measurement method, this standard aims to provide a method for evaluating the uncertainty of a measured result.

The standard has undergone a number of technical revisions since the previous edition. One of the modifications is the alternative expression of extended uncertainties in absolute values, which improves comprehension of the measurement uncertainty. The standard now contains increased uncertainty calculations for washer-dryers in accordance with IEC 62512:2012 and for horizontal drum washing machines in accordance with IEC 60456:2010.
