Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-52: Particular Requirements for Oral Hygiene Appliances
Also Known As:
The goal of the IEC 60335-2-52:2002+AMD1:2008 CSV standard is to guarantee the security of electric oral hygiene equipment used in homes and other settings. The specification particularly covers equipment with a rated voltage up to 250 V. Oral irrigators and toothbrushes are a couple of the appliances that fall within this criterion.
The third edition from 2002 and its subsequent amendment 1 from 2008 are both included in this version of the standard, which is a consolidated edition. There is no need to order the modification separately from this publication as a result.
This standard's objective is to specify the rules and specifications that producers of oral hygiene equipment must follow in order to guarantee the security of their products.
