Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-32: Particular Requirements for Massage Appliances
Also Known As:
Particular attention is paid to the safety standards for electric massage equipment used in homes and other similar settings in the standard IEC 60335-2-32:2002+A1:2008+A2:2013. It applies to a variety of massage equipment, including foot massagers, hand-held massagers, massage beds, chairs, pads, and belts. The standard establishes limits on the rated voltage of certain appliances, with a single-phase maximum of 250 V and other appliance maximums of 480 V.
The standard's fourth edition from 2002, together with amendments 1 and 2 from 2008 and 2013, are all included in this condensed version. It is not necessary to order these adjustments separately as a result. It is significant to remember that IEC 60335-1:2010, which stipulates general safety rules for all domestic electrical equipment, should be utilized in combination with this standard.
