PD CEN/TR 17519:2020 offers instructions on how to reduce the amount of filler materials that are dispersed into the environment when utilized in synthetic grass sports facilities. The guideline intends to increase knowledge of the best ways to keep infill materials inside the boundaries of the sports field among designers, venue owners, installation businesses, and maintenance staff.
In order to reduce the spread of infill materials, members of CEN/TC 217 identified examples of best practices in the paper. It is intended to be practical and adaptable to all varieties of synthetic turf sports fields, from those used by amateur and elite athletes to those at the community level.
