Guidelines for testing the effectiveness of cordless dry vacuum cleaners used in homes or other comparable settings are provided by the BS EN IEC 62885-4:2020 standard. The goal is to make sure that the measurements' results are comparable to those from vacuum cleaners that are connected to the mains, as required by IEC 62885-2. The purpose of the standard is to specify the fundamental user-relevant performance characteristics of cordless dry vacuum cleaners as well as the procedures for assessing these qualities. It should be noted that IEC 62885-2:2016, which is applicable unless otherwise indicated in this standard, should be read in combination with this one.
