Gymnastic Equipment - Trampolines - Functional and Safety Requirements, Test Methods
Also Known As:
The DIN EN 13219 standard specifies trampolines' functional and safety standards. In addition to the general safety standards outlined in PREN 913, the standard also provides particular safety requirements for each of the five main types of trampolines. As shown in Table 1, trampolines designed for use under trained supervision are subject to the standard.
It is significant to note that other equipment types, such as tumble tracks, home-use trampolines and mini-trampolines, safety belts, and accessories, are not covered by the standard. The standard most likely contains comprehensive standards for numerous trampoline characteristics, including size, construction, performance, and safety elements. The standard may also include test procedures to make sure the trampolines adhere to the standards.
