Sports and Recreational Facilities - Trampoline Parks - Safety Requirements
Also Known As:
Trampoline parks and their components must adhere to the European standard DIN EN ISO 23659. The standard specifies safety criteria for the planning, building, testing, and upkeep of trampoline parks and the parts that make them up. In order to provide an adequate degree of safety and service, whether utilized for recreational, training, educational, or therapeutic reasons, it also establishes minimal operational standards.
It's crucial to note that trampolines classified as gymnastic equipment under EN 13219:2001, trampolines for residential use under EN 7114:2014+A1:2017, and playgrounds for kids under EN 1176 (all parts) are not covered by this standard. To ensure the security of patrons and the efficient operation of the facility, trampoline parks and the parts that make them up must adhere to this particular standard.
