Electric water-bed heaters and related control equipment must adhere to safety regulations set forth in the IEC 60335-2-66:2002+AMD1:2008+AMD2:2011 CSV standard. These appliances have a rated voltage of up to 250 V and are designed for usage in homes and other similar environments. The regulation also applies to hotel water bed heaters.
The standard, which incorporates the information from the July 2004 corrigendum, should be read in conjunction with IEC 60335-1:2010. The standard's second edition from 2002, as well as amendments 1 and 2 from 2008 and 2011, are all included in the consolidated version. This implies that these adjustments don't need to be ordered individually.
