A specific safety standard for Class D floating recreational items intended for use on and in water is ISO 25649-6:2017. This standard is applicable to items with built-in buoyancy or buoyancy provided by inflation. Together with ISO 25649-1 and ISO 25649-2, it should be used.
For Class D devices such as inflatable climbing frames, bouncing platforms, slides, water trampolines, teeter-totters, and obstacle courses, the standard specifies extra safety criteria and test procedures. These gadgets are mainly utilized in open water (where there are no offshore breezes or currents), lakes, ponds, pools, and seashores.
