Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-64: Particular Requirements for Commercial Electric Kitchen Machines
Also Known As:
The safety criteria for commercial electric kitchen appliances that are not meant for home use are the main emphasis of the IEC 60335-2-64:2002+A1:2007+A2:2017 standard. The rated voltage for these appliances is up to 480 volts for other appliances and up to 250 volts for single-phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral. The requirements apply to typical kitchen appliances used in restaurants, hospitals, canteens, bakeries, butcher shops, and other commercial establishments.
The standard's third edition from 2002, as well as revisions from 2007 and 2017, are all included in this condensed form. As a result, there is no need to order any amendments because everything you need is already in this document. The standard ensures the safety of numerous kitchen appliances, including mixers, blenders, coffee grinders, and more, for commercial usage.
