As a result, it advises performing comparison testing on numerous appliances at once, in the same lab, and by the same operator, in order to get more trustworthy results. These appliances must adhere to IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-2's safety criteria.

Wet hard floor tests are not addressed in this standard, although it is important to note that they are being considered for a separate publication in the future.
