Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-55: Particular Requirements for Electrical Appliances for Use with Aquariums and Garden Ponds
Also Known As:
The IEC 60335-2-55:2002+AMD1:2008 A safety standard known as CSV focuses exclusively on electrical equipment made for aquariums and garden ponds. Appliances with a rated voltage of up to 250 volts and intended for domestic use must adhere to the standard.
A variety of appliances are covered by the standard, including sludge-suction equipment, aquarium heaters, automatic food dispensers, and aerators. It attempts to guarantee the security of these appliances throughout use and operation.
This revised edition incorporates both the first amendment from 2008 and the third edition from 2002. Therefore, as the change has already been incorporated into this publication, there is no need to order it separately. The two versions' consolidation guarantees that the standard is kept current with the most recent safety criteria and suggestions.
