An electrical safety standard for residential and similar electrical equipment is IEC 60335-2-6:2002+AMD1:2004+AMD2:2008 CSV. It concentrates on equipment that is used for stationary cooking, such as ranges, hobs, and ovens. The standard is applicable to appliances having a rated voltage of up to 480 V for other appliances and up to 250 V for single-phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral.
