The standards and test procedures for energy efficiency in gas-burning residential cooking equipment are described in the DIN EN 30-2-1 standard. This specification only covers type testing. The gross calorific value (Hs) as defined in EN 30-1-1 is the basis for the calorific values stated in this standard. Additionally, to ensure compliance with energy efficiency regulations, this standard has been updated to include the European Regulation 66/2014 ecodesign requirements for home ovens, hobs, and range hoods.
