Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-38: Particular Requirements for Commercial Electric Griddles and Griddle Grills
Also Known As:
The goal of the IEC 60335-2-38:2002+AMD1:2008 CSV standard is to guarantee the security of commercial griddles and griddle grills that are powered by electricity. It specifically applies to these appliances since they aren't made for usage in a home.
The standard establishes safety standards for commercial griddles and griddle grills that run at a rated voltage of not more than 480 V for other appliances and not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral.
It is unnecessary to order the amendment separately because this consolidated version of the standard includes both the fifth edition from 2002 and amendment 1 from 2008. This makes sure that the most recent safety rules and recommendations for industrial griddles and griddle grills are addressed in a thorough publication.
