AS/NZS 60335.2.29:2017 (IEC TEXT) PDF Download

The AS/NZS 60335.2.29:2017 (IEC TEXT) standard is concerned with the security features of electric battery chargers used in homes and other similar settings. The specification only applies to battery chargers with a rated voltage no higher than 250 V and an output no greater than 120 V of ripple-free direct current.

This standard specifies the specifications for both battery chargers intended for domestic use and those intended for other non-household end-use applications. It is important to remember that this standard is part of the IEC 60335 series.

On June 30, 2020, the 2017 version of AS/NZS 60335.2.29 will take the place of the 2004 version. The standard contains text from the IEC 60335-2-29, Ed. 5, 2016 version of the related standard, which is in its fifth edition.
